What songs do you play?
The band have a very broad repertoire covering the best music from the 1960s through to modern day.

How far will the band travel?
Texan Peacocks can travel all over the UK and are also available to play shows abroad.
The band are based in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire in the Midlands, and are close to the motorway network so anywhere in England and most of the UK is only a few hours drive.
Please note the distance to the venue will affect the band's costs.
How much do you charge?
Our costs are based on:
- Setup time - The time you want the band to arrive at the venue (we need about an hour to setup and sound check).
- Breakdown time - The time you want us to take down the equipment (may vary from the time we finish playing).
- Distance - When making an enquiry please supply the venue's post code so we can calculate our travel costs.
- Audience Size - If your audience is more that 300 we may need to use a larger PA system.
How long do you need to set up ?
The band normally take an hour to setup the equipment. This obviously depends on where you want the band play, for example up several stair cases will take longer than the ground floor.
If access if an issue please tell us when making the booking as we may need to bring extra road crew and equipment.
Do you have any specific requirements?
The band requires a stage area of at least 4 x 3 metres with clear access at all times. Adequate power supplies are also required, please ensure the venue has the necessary electrical test certificates.
How long is your show?
Texan Peacocks normally play for just over 2 hours.
The have a large repertoire that can be tailored to your requirements. We can either play two sets with an interval or play without a break.
Often we will play a more relaxed first set and get serious in the second, but ultimately the choice is yours.

Is it possible to see you before booking?
Most of our gigs are private functions, however on occasion we do play at public venues.

Will I need to book a disco as well as the band?
Our PA Sound System has a great sound and it's very simple to plug in a MP3 player, Ipod or Phone to play your favourite music while the band are not playing.
We can also supply music if you prefer.
How loud do you play?
We can play at any volume you require. Texan Peacocks can even perform an "unplugged" set using acoustic guitars and dampened drums for a less intensive sound. Alternatively we can use a 10'000 watt P.A. rig at a large out door event and anything in between.
Will I need to pay a deposit?
We will require a £250 deposit six months before the event.
Do you supply all your own equipment?
Texan Peacocks have all the equipment required to put on a great evenings entertainment. We have a state of the art PA and lighting system for audiences of up to 400 people. For larger events we can supply a PA suitable for 5000 people or more with sound engineers and lighting crew.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
All members of the band have public liabilty insurance and all equipment is covered. Copies are available upon request
Is your equipment PAT tested?
Yes, our equipment is tested and certificated. Copies are available upon request.
